Tim Adams is Our Voice for Working Families

In addition to his public service, Adams is a successful entrepreneur and President and CEO of Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH), a company he founded in 1989. Under his leadership, SA-TECH has grown into a nationally recognized firm providing engineering, logistics, information technology, and facilities management services in support of the U.S. Department of Defense, employing a workforce across the country.

Adams is also deeply committed to improving healthcare access in Prince George’s County. Alongside his wife, the Honorable Sheila Tillerson Adams, he contributed $100,000 to support the expansion of behavioral health services at Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center, helping to increase access to critical mental health and substance use treatment for residents.

A graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and the University of New Orleans, where he earned his MBA, Adams has continued his executive education at institutions including Dartmouth College and the University of Maryland. He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Bowie State University in recognition of his leadership and service.

Throughout his career, Adams has remained dedicated to giving back—mentoring others, supporting community organizations, and investing in initiatives that uplift families, seniors, and young people. He lives in Bowie with his wife and family, and his work continues to be guided by a belief that government should deliver meaningful results and create opportunities for every resident to thrive.
